About Us
Our Story
I’m a veteran and the founder of VeteranAssistant.com. My journey began during one of the hardest times in my life — I was facing the possibility of losing my home to foreclosure. In urgent need of assistance, I turned to the internet, hoping to find programs that could help. What I discovered was both encouraging and frustrating: there are dozens of programs out there for veterans. But finding them wasn’t easy — the information was scattered, and it took countless hours of searching and researching to find what I needed.
That experience stayed with me. I knew that if it was this difficult for me — countless other veterans were likely struggling as well. That’s when the idea for VeteranAssistant.com was born: to build a centralized, trustworthy resource hub where veterans can more easily access the support and benefits they’ve earned.
Along the way, I also needed my own DD-214. I turned to a paid service to help with the process. While the service was fast and reliable, the cost felt unnecessarily high. It made me realize that many veterans — especially those facing life challenges — deserve both transparency and choice when it comes to services like this.
Let me be very clear:
👉 We fully encourage all veterans to first pursue their free option through the National Archives or their branch of service. You do not need to pay for your DD-214 if you are comfortable navigating the process on your own.
Our paid service exists solely for those veterans who would prefer assistance with the process:
✅ If you want help navigating the paperwork
✅ If you need someone to monitor the process on your behalf
✅ If you are in a time-sensitive situation or under stress
✅ If you simply want the convenience of guided assistance
For those who choose that route, we are here — and at a far more affordable and transparent rate than many other services out there. But in no way are we trying to replace or compete with the free channels available to every veteran.
Our Commitment
Our mission is simple:
👉 To help veterans navigate the benefits they’ve earned, with full transparency.
👉 To encourage free use of government resources whenever possible.
👉 And to offer fair, honest assistance only to those veterans who choose to use a paid service.
We stand firmly against predatory practices — and we are committed to ensuring that every veteran knows their options and has access to the support they deserve.
