About Us

Our Story:

I’m a veteran and the founder of VeteranAssistant.com. My journey began during one of the hardest times in my life — I was facing the possibility of losing my home to foreclosure. In urgent need of help, I turned to the internet hoping to find programs that could make a difference.

What I found was encouraging yet frustrating: there are hundreds of resources for veterans, but the information is scattered, outdated in places, and hard to navigate. It took countless hours of searching to piece together the help I needed.

That experience stayed with me. I knew that if it was this challenging for me, countless other veterans were likely facing the same struggle. That’s when the idea for VeteranAssistant.com was born — to build a centralized, trustworthy resource hub where veterans can easily find and access the full range of benefits, programs, and services they’ve earned.

Our focus has never been on one single type of assistance — we’re here to connect veterans with all the channels of support available. This includes housing and financial aid, healthcare options, employment and education programs, mental health resources, legal help, and more.

Along the way, we also recognized that some veterans need help with important documents like the DD-214. For example, when I needed mine, I used a paid service. While it worked, the cost felt unnecessarily high in fact it was $129 — and it made me realize that veterans deserve transparency, choice and a cost that isn’t predatory.

For DD-214 requests, we encourage every veteran to start with the free option through the National Archives or their branch of service. For those who prefer guided help — whether due to time sensitivity, stress, or convenience — we offer a faster, more affordable paid option. But this is just one small part of what we do.

Our Commitment

Our mission is simple:
👉 Help veterans navigate all the benefits, programs, and services they’ve earned.
👉 Empower the veteran community financially.
👉 Offer fair, honest assistance with guided services.

We stand firmly against predatory practices. Every veteran should know their options — and have the tools to access the full range of support they deserve.
